Here are some reminders and requests  for upcoming school activities.

Reminder Jump Rope for Heart – May 19

We will be jumping this Friday –  May 19. Jump Rope For Heart consists of all staff and students participating in a skipping challenge. Students will have the opportunity to enjoy many different activities as they move station to station with their classmates.

To donate to Westvale PS please go to jumpropeforheart.ca and click register, choose “Join Your School”, select Westvale and fill out your fundraising information.

Hat and Sunglass Day – May 19

Students are invited to join in a spirit activity on Friday too. Students may choose to wear a hat and sunglasses. Hats and sunglasses might come in handy for our outdoor Jump Rope for Heart event.

Volunteers needed – Junior Track and Field – Tuesday, May 23

Westvale will be having our Track and Field Day for junior students in Grade 4, 5 and 6.  The RAIN DATE IS Wednesday May 24. We have many events scheduled that will last for the entire school day.  It should turn out to be a lot of fun for everyone involved. 

We are in need of a few volunteers to help out at each event during the day to make things run as smoothly as possible. If you are able to give your time to help out with this event, please send an email to Mr. Ahlberg at stephen_ahlberg@wrdsb.ca and let him know your availability for the day.
