Earth Day – April 22

Westvale is participating in Earth Day on Monday, April 22. We encourage everyone to wear Blue and Green to show we respect the Earth. There will be a trivia contest for classes to participate in. We will engage in a School Yard Clean Up. If it rains, we’ll do the clean up on Tuesday, April 23. We want to show how much we care for our school property and respect our natural environment.

Science Fair and Invention Convention – April 25

Students will bring their projects to school on the morning of April 25. Students may enter the doors by the gym at 8:45 with their projects. Organizers will show students their set-up location. Classes will visit during the school day.

For the evening, doors by the gym will open at 6:20 pm for students to set up and be ready for the judges. Visitors are invited to view the projects from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.

The Science Fair Judges will begin asking questions to students about their projects at 6:30 pm. It is an opportunity for the children to discuss the creation of their projects and the fun they experienced in the process. It is not a competition.

The Science Fair finishes at 7:30 pm. Students will be asked to take down their projects and take home all materials.
